2023 Jeep Gladiator Performance
The 2023 Gladiator comes with two engine options to choose from. The standard engine is a 3.6-litre Pentastar VVT V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission and offers an available TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic on higher trim levels. Models equipped with this engine have a payload of up to 1,710 pounds and can tow a maximum of 7,700 pounds. The other engine option is a 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 engine with Engine Start/Stop (ESS) technology paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 6,500 pounds. When equipped with the EcoDiesel engine, the Gladiator has a combined fuel economy rating as low as 9.8 L/100 km.
